The ice cream is always the move here, all natural and genuinely local, not just labeled that way. Chocolate on a sugar cone is the standard order, and it's consistently excellent, the kind of simple thing that's actually hard to get right every single time.

The other standing order is the egg sandwich, get it with green chile. It's a classic for a reason: straightforward, satisfying, and about as local as breakfast in Taos gets. What's notable is that it holds up exactly the same whether it's the original Arroyo Seco spot or the in-town location. Same quality, same consistency, no drop-off either way.
