Sushi ala HattoriSushi a la Hattori is a super fine sushi bar and restaurant. Gin & Hiromi Hattori operate Sushi a la Hattori in the Overland Sheepskin Company complex north of town in El Prado. Sushi ala Hattori is a comfortable restaurant with an atmosphere that encompasses both Japan and New Mexico. Look for some beautiful Japanese silk here and there, and during the day enjoy a very fine Taos Mountain view. A treat for anyone who loves fine Japanese sushi with all that goes with it. Sushi a la Hattori even has very rare giant clam or geoduck (Mirugai). And you'll love their selection of Sake.

Ginza Sushi

Ginza Sushi Bar Gin Za Sushi is a wonderful little hideaway near central Taos. This family run business has been keeping us afloat with Sushi for about ten years. The Who's Who of Taos can be found at Ginza, even if it's just picking up take out. Mr. Young Kim and his son Phillipe handle the front side of the restaurant, with Mrs. Kim handles the kitchen's Asian and occasional Brasilian treat. Gin Za features a wide variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean dishes deliciously prepared. Two for One Specials, too.

Look for entrees such as Half Free-Range Chicken, Tai Curry Chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Double Kung Pao, Spicy Garlic Chicken or Pork, Spicy Shrimp, Korean BBQ Pork Chop, Korean Stir Fry, Beef Broccoli, Black Pepper Beef, Tai Curry Beef, Poasted Duck, Peking Duck,Honey Walnut Shrimp, Shrimp with Vegetables,White Fish Fillet with Asparagus, Mountain Lamb Shank. And Vegetarian Entrees such as: Vegetarian's Bowl, Luohan Feast, Tai Tofu, Portobello Mushrooms, Vegetable Soup.

Hiro Hobo

Hiro Bobo in Arroyo SecoHiro Hobo Izakaya & Sushi Bar is a  cafe based on the popular Japanese Izakaya style which translates to a pub or drinking place where food is served in the small  plate or tapas tradition. WHiro Hobo offers a standards menu with continuing daily changes on their specialties menu.  Hiri Hobo's intention is to explore the foods, styles and techniques unique to Japan and its regions as well as dishes influenced by culinary immigration.

Hiro Hobo is a delightful, comfortable place in Arroyo Seco. The food is good, the atmosphere is relaxing and cordial. Hiro Hobo serves a variety of well crafted oriental dishes, including a few sushi dishes.
