Guadalajara Grill

Guadalajara GrillGuadalajara Grill is nuts it's so good. There are two Guadalajara Grille's in the Taos Restaurant scene. There's a Guadalahara Grill on the north side, in El Prado. There's a Guadalahara Grill on the south side, near Ranchos de Taos. How's that for convenient?

The food is old Mexico style and the atmosphere is very real. And the food is pure and fresh and just plain good.

Everyone in Taos loves the Guadalajara Grill. You will too.

Great Place To Eat! The Review, Not So Great...
written by Taos Pixie, July 30, 2011
The Guadalajara Grill (north or south) is a great place to eat in Taos! We go every time we're in Taos, and my husband has even written a glowing (anonymous) review for the New York Times travel web site. At the south location, there is a great view of Taos Mountain, and, to top it off, you can sit outside and enjoy that view!

That being said, the review at taosdining.com does not do it justice -- it invites people to discount the place ... how? By writing incorrectly; the reader encounters the incorrect spelling "Guadalahara Grill" [sic] twice in the review, and the first paragraph has both grammar and spelling errors in its description of the fact that there are "Guadalajara Grille's" [sic] on both the north and south sides of Taos.

*That* being said, however, the reviewer is right on about the restaurant, especially the freshness -- the guacamole is made to order, right before your eyes!:

"The food is old Mexico style and the atmosphere is very real. And the food is pure and fresh and just plain good.
Everyone in Taos loves the Guadalajara Grill. You will too."

I agree -- go, when you are in Taos! You will love it, too!
