Delightful spot within easy walking distance from Taos Plaza. Easy going jazz, good wine (small selection) and excellent food. Cloth napkins. Excellent fresh bread served with some of their own orange marmalade. I tried the Carlos Basso Argentine Cabernet Merlot with their New York Strip Steak served with steak fries, caramelized onions and sauteed bell peppers. The steak was perfectly grilled and totally tasty. Good coffee and sweet desert - I almost never eat desert, but I finished this one. I love this place - comfortable and really tasty. So many years of living in Taos and Byzantium wasn't on my radar. Only tell your best friends about Byzantium. After all, Byzantium has only a few tables.
