Taos Fine Dining
Graham's Grille

Lambert's menu contains some very tasty dishes, including: dungeness crab cakes, roasted corn and smoked bacon chowder, grilled chicken satay.tempura lobster tail, grilled lamb tenderloin, romaine salad, roasted tomato and mozzerella, pepper crusted lamb, glazed roast duck, grilled medallions of beef tenderloin, pistacio crusted chicken breast, rib eye steak, grilled veal chop, rutabaga-potato herb cake, filet of beef, ginger-grilled shrimp.
Stakeout Grill & Bar

Since 1976 the Stakeout Grill & Bar has dished out awesome steaks and other fine dinners. Located at an altitude of 7,200 feet, the dining patio of the Stakeout Restaurant overlooks the Rio Grande Gorge State Park to the west, and Taos to the north. Enjoy a sunset dinner from a deck where you can see the Mesa Pedernal, 80 miles to the south. Tres Orejas, Cerro, San Antonio, and Taos Mountain are also visible.
The Picuris (Picturesque) Mountains are to the east, with Kit Carson National Forest and Indian land beyond that. You can also see the Gorge Bridge which leads to Tres Piedras and the town of Carson.
The Love Apple
The Love Apple the Taos' newest fave rave. The Love Apple is open in Fernando Miera’s old chapel on Paseo Norte just north of the Rio Pueblo. Jennifer Hart, owner, host serves organic regional food at reasonable prices prepared from scratch with intention and local fresh ingredients.
The Love Apple's chef is Andrea Meyer. Jennifer Hart has kept the main room white, with bench seating along the walls fitted between the inner buttresses, and a custom rectangular mirror, courtesy Chris White on the east wall to expand and brighten the space. Jennifer named it Love Apple after the French term for tomato, pomme d’amour.
The food is organic/local/natural to the extent possible and the menu is very creative and seasonally appropriate. It looked like they print new menus regularly, but there were specials on top of that.
Sabroso
Sabroso features American and Mediterranean-accented fine dining and bistro fare complemented by an award-winning wine list. Sabroso also offers an extensive beer and spirits selection, as well as exquisite fresh-squeezed Margaritas and other memorable cocktails. At Sabroso, they cook on the Taos area's only wood-fired grill, using local hardwoods to prepare superior steaks, lamb and fish. Their regular menu also features vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Sabroso is housed in a historic 150-year-old adobe in the tiny village of Arroyo Seco that local reviewers have described as “possibly home to the coziest dining atmosphere in Taos.”
