Old Blinking Light (OBL)

The Old Blinking Light is called the OBL by everyone and is noted as a real gathering spot in the Taos area. Famous for it's New Mex, Tex-Mex, Mex-Mex, and American cuisine, the OBL is open for dinner from 5pm to 10pm.

The OBL's wine list has expanded and is tailored to your fine Southwest dining experience. "The WineShop at the OBL" offers full-service beer, wine, and spirits shop open 7 days and is now the ONLY wine shop in Taos

Applebee's got the idea for what is usually called a fern bar with the antiques and the old posters and just made it work.

The food is usually very tasty and the service is generally with a smile. Most folks like a night out. If you want to hang out in America it is neat - like being in 'first-world.'

Applebee's is the largest casual dining chain in the world with annual sales of $4.7 billion.

Applebee's Restaurants are all over the world. Besides Taos (and the rest of America), there are Applebee's in Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE.

Damon's Fine Dining serves unique and top-notch food in a very interesting setting Damon Simonton worked for several years with Joseph Wrede of Joseph's Table. His own restaurant also offers the same sort of high end dining.
